A QUESTION OF LOVE?

We often hear that feeling and loving are exclusive to human beings but… what is love, actually? In science, it all comes down to a simple cocktail of neurotransmitters and hormones that produce a feeling of attachment to other beings. If so, would the ability to love only be unique to humans? Many animals have mouths, noses, and eyes, like us. They eat, play, take care of their own, and protect their children with their own lives… All of which are behaviours that we also observe in our own species. Are we, at heart, so different? Discover in “A Question Of Love”, a passionate look at a passionate nature.

MAWINDO. THE DRAMA OF THE SERENGETI

Something is happening in the African savannah… It seems that a new super predator, without fangs or claws, has infiltrated this timeless place turning its residents into easy prey to hunt… with a single shot. In the animal world, there are two types of hunters, those who hunt for survival and those who hunt for fun, yet they all depend on “Mawindo” a word that in Swahili means “the one who is going to be hunted”, commonly known as “prey”. This documentary brings a new look to the classic conception of hunters and preys: a change of protagonists to reveal how the victims who inhabit the Serengeti steppe organize, live and feel. A manifestation of its importance, key in all ecosystems, to remind us that without any prey there could not be any hunters.

THE QUEEN IN THE NORTH

In the north, winter always comes early. The first snowfalls tint the boreal forest white, and an icy cold invades every corner of the forest, where very few animals manage to survive this extreme climate. The silent Queen of the North breaks through; a northern lynx, our protagonist, carrying her newborn babies under her breath. She alone must take care of them in this hostile environment during the most critical period of their lives. But having a couple of such unruly daughters, perpetuating her reign will be an arduous task…

Join them in the adventure of life, while they discover for the first time the world of ice that surrounds them, survive predators, storms and sub-zero temperatures. From winter to summer, we will witness what it really takes to survive in the North; to deserve to be crowned as The Queen In the North.
