In the North, winter always arrives early. The first snowfall has already turned the boreal forest white, its icy grip reaching into every dark recess of the forest: very few animals can survive in such an extreme climate.
Silently, our protagonist, the Queen in the North appears on the landscape – a Eurasian lynx, gently carrying her two newborn cubs between her powerful fangs. Alone in this hostile environment, she must take care of them during the most critical period of their lives. But with such rambunctious daughters, perpetuating their reign will be an arduous task.
We follow them on the adventure of a lifetime, as they explore the world of ice around them, surviving predators, storms and freezing temperatures.
From winter to summer, we witness what it takes to survive in the north and how a mother must fight to earn the crown of The Queen in the North.
